We pre shrink our fabrics before cutting your garments from them. However a slight shrinkage is possible depending on the washing process you use. We recommend washing in cold water using a mild detergent on a delicate cycle and air drying your clothes.

We use Azo free or plant dyed fabrics. Minor color bleeding may occur on the very first wash, particularly with deep colors. We advise washing your coloured garments separately from your whites.

Handwoven cotton is fabric woven manually by a skilled artisan on a traditional handloom. This slow, non-electric process results in a softer, more breathable cloth with a unique texture. Each piece reflects the individual skill and touch of the weaver.

The higher cost is due to the labor-intensive production and ethical sourcing. A weaver produces significantly less yardage than a machine daily, and the price reflects fair wages for this specialized, centuries-old craft.

We operate on a direct-trade model, working directly with our artisan cooperatives. This ensures they are paid fair prices for their labor and skills that are well above the regional minimum wage. We prioritize ethical, sustainable partnerships.
